The Most Radicalist: Bringing new music to The Great Escape

TMR are back at the Brighton based music festival next month

By The GMS Team 24-Apr-2018

The Great Escape is a three-day festival in Brighton with not just multiple stages, but also multiple venues dotted across the city. The Great Escape boasts a total of 30+ venues, which since recently also includes The Beach, a 2000 capacity festival site, which - you guessed it, is on Brighton’s beach! The Alternative Escape, secret gigs, spotlight shows and music industry conventions mean that you never run out of something to do.

Our friends at The Most Radicalist, the music blog dedicated to featuring new music from emerging artists, will be co-promoting two events this year for both The Great Escape and The Alternative Escape together with independent record label Hand In Hive. The Great Escape event is yet to be announced, but you can put the Alternative event into your diary as we can tell you that it will take place on Friday May the 18th at the Mucky Duck, where you can see the likes of Swimming Tapes, Saltwater Sun, Jealous of the Birds, Wyldest, Sports Team and Alice Boman.

The Most Radicalist was at The Great Escape with Hand In Hive last year and they had a very successful day presenting the Next Buzz Showcase working with artists Pelicandy, Dama Scout, Thyla, Kane Strang, Matt Maltese and Sweat. Click here to see their wrap film of the day!

TMR will also be partnering with the charity CALM for their events this year. The Campaign Against Living Miserably ‘is an award-winning charity dedicated to preventing male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.’
