About us.
Feel For Music is a small independent music company based out of Metropolis Studios in West London. Our core business is music supervision, licensing and composition with our traditional focus being on trailers and in-game music for the video game sector where we have won numerous awards for our work. We have recently also launched both a Film & TV division; and our Player-1 music platform and catalogue has recently gone into beta.

We have worked on a number of the world’s biggest game franchises including Assassins Creed, Final Fantasy, Life is Strange, Space Invaders and many more. Our current client base includes a number of major game publishers Ubisoft, Square Enix, Epic, Plaion, Tencent, IOI.
We have over a billion plays of our music on YouTube and tens of millions of plays on Spotify. Our music regularly features on all the major TV networks around the world including Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC, NBC, Fox and hundreds more.

The Role.
Working with the whole team you will be supporting various staff across music supervision searches and research projects as well as maintaining website updates, social media posting, and other administrative tasks. Our interns generally also help out with general office management stuff including post, office supplies, digital admin, as well helping maintain our studios and occasionally helping out with studio based tasks such as recording or audio editing.

A really high percentage of interns that have worked for us have gone on to full time roles within the industry either with us or elsewhere; and this is a great opportunity to both learn lots and develop existing skills. It is a role that is suited to those with a ‘can do’ attitude to get involved with all the work we do.

This role is unpaid, however we do cover travel and sustenance on a per diem basis. As such working hours are flexible but ideally you are able to be in our Chiswick office 3/4 days a week.

Key Elements.
Music Supervision Assistance
Helping supervisors with searches and music research tasks across gaming, tv and films.
Also assisting with managing music files, disco and Spotify playlisting.

Website and Social Media Admin

Keeping the website and social channels up to date with the latest work.

Office Junior
Basic office management including post, managing office supplies, assisting with administrative tasks and occasionally making some teas. Also music registration and data management for our site and PRO’s.

Studio Assistant
Maintaining tidy studios, setting up at the start of a say, helping with basic audio editing and recording tasks. For those with the pre-requisite skills there can also be composition opportunities.

Core Competencies:
Strong communication
Deep-rooted passion for music and breadth of knowledge of music, genres and artists
Self-starting with lots of initiative and drive
Attention to detail

Useful Skills:
Keynote or Powerpoint presentation
Basic music editing and/or knowing studio basics
Desktop publishing (Word and Excel)

Professional experience is not necessary but genuine enthusiasm for music, games or media is important. You will however need to evidence suitability for the role.
Degree level education is preferred but not essential
